About Nerdi Gras

Where geek culture meets Mardi Gras magic in the heart of Atlanta

Our Story

Nerdi Gras was born from a simple idea: what if we combined the vibrant, inclusive celebration of Mardi Gras with the passion and creativity of geek culture?

Founded in 2023 by Uncle Grimmy's Tech Carnival, Nerdi Gras has quickly become Atlanta's premier destination for gamers, cosplayers, tech enthusiasts, and anyone who believes that being a "nerd" is something to celebrate with pride and joy.

Our unique blend of gaming tournaments, cosplay contests, tech panels, and Mardi Gras-style festivities creates an atmosphere unlike any other convention. We believe that geek culture deserves its own carnival, complete with parades, beads, king cakes, and the unmistakable spirit of "laissez les bons temps rouler" - let the good times roll!
